For reasons I no longer remember, the crew was unable to return until the following week. Nearly the end of September, the work continues.
Now it is possible to see where the two large RV doors in the front, the "man" door also in the front, and the two smaller garage doors for autos along with one additional "man" door on the west side of the barn will be placed. It's coming together!
The rolls of blue packaging is the insulation, ready to be installed.
Finally, we get some action and the crew comes out to build our barn. First the holes are dug, then the poles are set, and finally they are filled with concrete. The picture of the truck shows how materials were delivered to our site.
These pictures show the size of the holes, each 5 - 6 feet deep, how the poles are placed into the holes, and finally the size of the auger used to dig each hole.
The following photos show how each pole was placed into the holes.
These last pictures show the concrete being poured into each hole. It was an all day project, but much got done!
Bob and I spend over 7 months each year discovering America. In 2009, our travels took us through 31 states and the Disctrict of Columbia. In 2011 we were fortunate to travel to Alaska & back, and again in 2012, we toured most of the US and were able to include the Atlantic Provinces of Canada!
Historical sites and places of interest with an emphasis on rural America is what we strive to visit.
Although we consider ourselves full-timers, From January through April we remain stationary to better serve our clients preparing income taxes. While on the road we continue to provide income tax planning & preparation services.
