Many very interesting displays are in dark rooms where flash photography is not allowed. Many other items are protected by glass enclosures and photography is difficult if not impossible without the use of a tripod for long exposure, and tripods are not allowed. A steam ship of luxury and beauty, most sailings were very short, taking guests from Vermont to New York and back. Of interest to note: Originally there were 6 life boats. When the museum acquired the Ti, only 4 life boats remained. Would you believe the 5th, shown below, was found on eBay! The 6th remains a mystery.
