Washington DC - The Monuments

From Washington DC - The Monuments

It's impossible to visit all the monuments in a single trip to our nation's capital, but you know Bob and I will try! On our last visit, we never could get to the Theodore Roosevelt monument, located on an island on the Potomac. You can be certain we found it this time around. Here is some of what we saw.

The World War II monument is breathtaking. In a circle, each quarter represents one of the theaters with the pool in the center - awesome!

Finally, we end with honoring the women who serve, African American's, and of course, the Viet Nam Memorial.
