From Washington DC - Views & More

Returning for another full day of walking the city, we find a wonderful tower to climb which has views in every direction. Here is a sample:

Now down on ground level, we find this map for a walking tour, and try to follow it around.

Today is the day we get tickets for the Ford Theater. Here are a few pictures. As luck would have it, we did get to see a play about the Lincoln assassination. What a treat!

Quite by accident, Bob and I come to the National Geographic Society Headquarters. What a treat! We get there the last hour before closing, and we could easily have spent an entire day. Note for next visit - a must see!

great photos! Hubby has difficulty walking due to arthritis, so though we've driven around DC, you've shown me things we weren't able to see.
