Meeting an old friend

From Kettle House Brewery
Can you imagine my surprise as I pulled off of I-90 in Missoula, MT to see our old Honda!  The car pulled into the Micky D's right where Bob and I needed to fill up. After a run around the station, I found it parked in front with this cute guy, Brian, sitting at the wheel.

After introducing myself, it didn't take much encouragement for Brian to bring his car around to the truck pumps where we were filling Popeye to explain to him we were the former owners. We explained that in spite of the dents and scrapes, our little Sweetpea (as I used to call the car) had never been in an accident. She was hit twice; once in our driveway which was repaired, and once in Savannah where she was side swiped by the truck parked next to us. The driver never saw our little car as he was in a big vehicle and Sweetpea was totally out of sight. We're relieved that our little Honda found a good new home!

After sampling quite a few brews, our favorite all time brew comes from the Kettlehouse Brewery in Missoula. They have several brews, but the next time you are in Missoula (the only place it is available for purchase) check out their Cold Smoked Scotch Ale. There is no smoke flavor. It's actually named after a ski run in Missoula!
