Michel asks us what interests us the most, and we reply museums, churches, and natural beauty of the area. So, without hesitation, our next stop is this beautiful old church which honors Saint Joseph, of Mont Royal.
I find it interesting the bell tower is in a building separate from the church. Most of these churches started as little chapels, then grew, and grew, finally into the large edifices they are today.
There are several levels to this church, and this is just the lower level.
This is just one view of the lovely garden with the Stations of the Cross. We tour this garden prior to visiting the upper level.
