Notre-Dame-de-bon-Secures Chapel 1655

From Montreal Day 2 - Chapel & City Views
Known as the Sailors Church of the English speaking catholic community, and founded by Marguerite Bourgeoys in 1655, this charming little chapel is right in the heart of Old Montreal.

Beneath this charming little chapel lies a small museum. However, we head for the top to find and find these interesting exhibits on the history of the chapel.

Now we're heading out, but first I take this photo of miniatures of sailing vessels of the period. A visit to this chapel is highly recommended.
