From Montreal Day 4 - Olympic Facilities
The awesome Olympic Tower, built for the Olympics in 1976, is an instantly recognizable sight worldwide. Michel and Diane give us a great tour of this amazing facility. It is the first time we have ever seen an actual Olympic pool, and believe me, it is intimidating in size! Here's a peek of what we see:

While waiting for our tour to begin, we watch the women's water polo team from Mexico and Brazil warming up in the diving pool. The display on the scoreboard shows the countdown to game time.

The Mexican team in Black and the Brazilian team in Blue. Lots of action to come!

We need to leave the game just after it gets started to begin our tour. It is the only way you can see the inside of the Olympic Stadium.

Our tour guide takes a picture of the four of us. Now it's time to ride up the tower and see what Montreal looks like from above.

Finally, a great view of the condos, originally built as apartments for the athletes on the Olympic grounds. Fortunately we have a crystal clear day to enjoy this view.
