Neither our tour guide or the Whitehorse Visitor's Center told us about Canada Games. What a fantastic place! Our understanding is many towns across Canada have these fabulous centers for their citizens, to give them something to do in the long winters. Check out just a few of the facilities:

Not shown are the two Olympic size ice rinks, one for hockey, the other pleasure skating. What an amazing facility, and very reasonably priced. Since we don't reside in the Yukon Territory, we could attend for half price. You can be sure we'll visit on our return trip:

Wow - I'd go there just for that swimming pool and hot tub.
