Arriving in Grand Rapids, MN

From Arriving in Grand Rapids, MN
After a grueling 630+ mile day, we make it across Montana into North Dakota and the second day make it through ND and a quick overnight stop in central Minnesota, and arrive the next day in Grand Rapids. These pictures are at our camping spot at the Army Corp of Engineers site right along the Mississippi River. How sweet it is!

After our long journey, we are tired! With the sounds of the river trickling by, what a great place to take a nap!

Grand Rapids doesn't seem as depressed as on our last visit, which makes us very happy. This visit, we actually stop to read this sign of Judy Garlands birthplace and house (moved from it's original place). Since it's after 5 PM, visiting hours are over, but we still enjoy seeing this. Tomorrow, it's a visit to Bob's land.

That is quite a nice house that Judy was born in. Glad they saved (and moved) it as a tribute to her. The greatest entertainer of the 20th Century!
